The seventh Annual SNUG Israel convened on February 14, 2007, at the Daniel Hotel in Herzelia, Israel. Four hundred eighty attendees representing over 95 companies came together for a full day of discussion, exploration, and exchanging of ideas with fellow design engineers and Synopsys' technical staff.
The SNUG program began with an official welcome by Ori Chalak of Marvell, the SNUG Israel Technical Chairperson. Guri Stark, Synopsys VP Marketing, delivered the keynote speech to a standing room only audience. Following the keynote, attendees participated in an agenda consisting of R&D and user panels, tutorials, and user experiences. The program consisted of varied topics from SystemVerilog and Virtual Platforms through ICC, DFY, Low Power, Pilot, DC-T, and PT-PX to Nanotime, AMS and IPs.
The program concluded with a cocktail reception where the technical committee announced the award for "Best Paper” went to Gideon Reisfeld, Gregory Zabolotov of Intel Haifa, for their paper entitled," Bone: Custom Design Sizing Optimization Flow using NanoTime." Congratulations Gideon and Gregory!
